Our company CINEMAX, s. r. o. has played a remarkable role as a developer and producer at the computer games market since the year 1998. We can perform our new projects with many experieces as we began with our developing activities already in the era of 8bit – computers in 1980s. That means we really were a part of the computer entertainment boom. Nowadays our company produces a wide range of own games while we ensure localizing and distribution of foreign games at the same time under our edition HYPERMAX.
Our first original czech game called IN THE SHADOW OF THE RAVEN was published in the year 1999 and it has achieved a great success. This game is still being sold, the number of its copies has exceeded 120 tousands (including several special editions as CD insets in magazines). The other successful titles followed: STATE OF WAR, NECROMANIA: TRAP OF DARKNESS, WARMONGER, BUG'S ESCAPE 3D, DAEMONICA and EVIL DAYS OF LUCKESS JOHN, GUMBOY CRAZY ADVENTURES.
Our edition CINEMAX is mainly focused on publishing and distribution of czech and slovak games, either from our own production or from other czech and slovak game-developing teams or companies. This edition was established in 2003 with company HYPE s. r. o. HYPERMAX is focused on localizing, publishing and distributing of foreign computer games (mainly PC games) in Czech and Slovak republic. The brand HYPERMAX therefore represents many well known, significant foreign companies on czech and slovak market since the year 2003. Our expanding game portfolio now includes such cult bestsellers like Painkiller, Zoo Empire, KnightShift, Trackmania United, Earth 2160 or/and Two Worlds.
